This mild coffee is sweet, medium bodied, with nutty undertones. Highest quality Brazilian coffees are not the easiest thing to find. Brazil has historically been associated with being the world�s largest producer of coffee, but low altitude plantations and poor agricultural processes have certainly damaged its reputation amongst specialty coffee lovers. Grown in the high altitude micro-climates of the Cerrado region, this coffee is certainly one of the best Brazilian coffees. The savannah-like climate of the Cerrado is akin to that of Kenya and Ethiopia, the cradle of coffee�s discovery. The high plateau is non-volcanic and produces a coffee quite different in palate from the traditional Latin American standards of Colombia and Costa Rica. The mild nature of this coffee suggests that you drink it black.
